A massive fire broke out at a jute goods manufacturing factory in the Parvatipur area of Howrah, Jagatballavpur, at around 4 AM on Saturday. The Jagatballavpur police station and two fire brigade vehicles quickly responded to the scene. The firefighters managed to bring the flames under control within an hour, preventing further damage.
Despite the prompt response, a significant amount of jute goods were destroyed in the blaze. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Authorities are assessing the extent of the damage, and no casualties have been reported.
